Doha: Indian External Affairs Ministry has posted on their website the schedule of flight departures from Doha to different Indian cities as a major aspect of repatriation task by the Indian government to get stranded Indians back home.
According to the site there will be 21 flights beginning from June 9 to June 19 to 10 airport terminals in five states of India.
The airport terminals as the destination by the Air India Express flights are Kannur (3), Trivandrum (4), Kozhikode (4), Kochi (4), Trichy, Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai, Madurai and Coimbatore.
Indian Embassy has not yet published flights details yet and it is the Embassy which finalises the travelers selection for the trips based on registration made on the Embassy website created for this purpose. They have additionally setup a committee panel for various regions of India to form the passengers list.
Till today, 17 flight have left Doha to different Indian cities bringing the complete number of repatriated travelers to 2828, in addition to 76 babies, Indian Embassy made public in a Tweet.
